Milwaukee homeowners know what Midwestern seasons can do to a home. Long winters, humidity swings, and daily wear all take their toll—especially in bathrooms. While tile showers have been the standard for decades, many homeowners are discovering that traditional grout comes with more upkeep than expected.
At Bath Planet of Milwaukee, we’re introducing a modern shower surface designed for real life in Wisconsin: PuroStone™. It offers the refined look of natural stone without the maintenance challenges that come with tile.
What Sets PuroStone™ Apart?
PuroStone™ is a high-performance shower surface engineered to look like stone while outperforming it in everyday use. Unlike tile, it features a solid, non-porous construction that resists moisture, staining, and bacteria.
Key features include:
- A non-porous surface that won’t absorb water
- Exceptional durability against impacts and heat
- GREENGUARD certification for improved indoor air quality
The result is a shower system that’s built for comfort, cleanliness, and longevity.
Why Milwaukee Homeowners Are Moving Away from Tile
1. Less Maintenance, Less Mold
Grout lines are often the weakest link in a tile shower. They absorb moisture and can quickly become breeding grounds for mold and mildew. PuroStone™ eliminates grout entirely, leaving a smooth surface that’s easy to clean with simple soap and water.
2. Faster Bathroom Upgrades
Tile renovations often stretch on due to demolition, surface prep, and curing time. PuroStone™ systems are custom-measured and fabricated to fit your shower, allowing installation to be completed efficiently—without weeks of disruption.
3. A Seamless Look That Feels Better
Without visual breaks from grout lines, PuroStone™ creates a clean, modern appearance that helps bathrooms feel more open. It also stays warm to the touch, a welcome feature during chilly Milwaukee mornings.
Designed for Long-Term Use
Bathrooms are one of the most used spaces in any home. PuroStone™ is engineered to last, offering resistance to heat, impacts, and everyday wear. If the surface ever needs attention, it can be renewed or repaired—adding to its long-term value.
To support that durability, PuroStone™ is backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty, offering peace of mind for years to come.
A Modern Alternative for Milwaukee Bathrooms
For homeowners looking to reduce maintenance, modernize their bathroom, and move beyond traditional tile, PuroStone™ offers a practical and stylish solution designed to handle Wisconsin living.
